The heart of the center is a spectacular sacred space built sustainably using strawbale in the ancient tradition of religious construction. It is surrounded by younger and older trees, small water features, birds and the famous Beagle: Merlin who invites all to join him to eat! The property also has a guest house, creativity room, a labyrinth and a small outdoor kitchen. The special charm of the property is that each person on a retreat can find their own little nook to pray unseen and undisturbed.

Named after the founder of the Verbum Dei community, the Jaime Bonet Chapel was inaugurated in 2023, seven years after breaking ground. Built using strawbale construction, the chapel is not only ecologically sustainable but also reflects the reality of the incarnation which is at the heart of our Christian fath and the Verbum Dei charism. The tabernable is deliberately placed in front of a "truth window" where you are able to see the straw. As many people say when they walk into the chapel, the round structure radiates a feeling of being embraced and welcomed.
