Silent Retreat/Ejercicios Espirituales - Seeds of Life, Tracy

You are welcome to join this longer silent retreat (Spiritual Exercises) in the beautiful spirituality center at Seeds of Life, Tracy. The retreat will be facilitated by Verbum Dei Missionaries. In the light of the recent passing of our beloved Pope Francis and inspired by his witness this silent retreat will give space for us to reflect on our own call to “act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God” in our times.

Each day will include two guided reflection focused on the week’s theme. One will be given in Spanish and the other in English, (there will be translation available if needed). There will be ample time for personal prayer and reflection in the straw bale chapel or in one of the many prayer niches on the property. There is also a prayer labyrinth for you to walk . You are also able to spend time in the surrounding orchards or simply rest as you need. If you would like, a Verbum Dei sister is available for a one on one spiritual conversation.

Monday June 9, 9am to Sunday June 15 (lunch).

Suggested donation: $75-$125 per day.

Les invitamos a unirse a este retiro en silencio más largo (Ejercicios Espirituales) en el hermoso centro de espiritualidad de Semillas de Vida, Tracy. El retiro será facilitado por las misioneras Verbum Dei. A raíz del reciente fallecimiento de nuestro amado Papa Francisco e inspirados por su testimonio, este retiro en silencio nos brindará un espacio para reflexionar sobre nuestro llamado a “vivir la justicia, amar la misericordia y caminar humildemente con Dios” en nuestros tiempos.

Cada día incluirá dos reflexiones guiadas centradas en el tema de la semana. Una se impartirá en español y la otra en inglés (habrá traducción disponible si es necesario). Habrá tiempo suficiente para la oración personal y la reflexión en la capilla o en uno de los muchos espacios de oración de la propiedad. También hay un laberinto de oración. Podrán caminar en los huertos circundantes o simplemente descansar cuando lo necesiten. Si lo desean, una hermana Verbum Dei está disponible para una conversación espiritual individual.
